can't wait to stay again
Hot pool staff secluded beautiful area hike
you have to wear a swimming cap. not sure why. I'm bald and still had to. food was expensive for what you get. wine is indeed but as a couple, they only gave us 1 bottle. of someone was solo, they also got a bottle. Just give us 2 :) I saw them reusing opened bottles from other tables to others. good for no wastage which I love bad for society's expectstions.

Was a 2 night stopover to break our journey, relaxing atmosphere, helpful staff, great location.
Location very unusual position and impressive in the Mesa River gorge. River flows within feet of the accommodation. Room was a superior twinned bedded with a balcony (only a few) extremely modern with air con. In the new wing of the hotel. Very helpful staff at reception to explain where our room and facilties were as we were the only UK residents staying. Breakfast and dinner were included with our stay. Choice was 4 starters, 4 mains no a la carte menu. Good Spanish basic style food with a bottle of wine included. Fish on the menu very good. Breakfast was very good buffet with hot food. Facilities. This is a Spa hotel and the pool is literally against the cliff of the gorge, with water from a spring at 27deg. The floor of the pool is stone pebbles as is really the old river bed. Steam room and other spa options available but cost extra. Extensive walks available up the gorge if you stay for longer. (1 hour walk to prehistoric cave paintings.) Good wifi connection considering where hotel is located in a gorge.
Hotel could do with some more English translations. This would help with the Spa timing etc.
